The basic and most usual treatment is <strong>surgical tumour resection,<\/strong> which may be accompanied by radiation therapy and\/or chemotherapy.<\/p><p><strong>Transarterial chemoembolisation\/embolisation <\/strong>has significantly contributed towards reducing tumour size and stage and leading to remission of symptoms (pain, sense of heaviness). This state-of-the-art method often gives patients the opportunity to undergo surgical treatment, thus achieving <strong>longer life expectancy<\/strong>, avoiding amputation and <strong>improving their quality of life.<\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Ioannis Dedes<\/strong> has been successfully performing \u2013 for longer than a decade \u2013 transarterial chemoembolisations\/embolisations for soft-tissue sarcomas, achieving <strong>particularly high tumour shrinking rates.<\/strong><\/p><p>Patients can then be operated or\/and follow new chemotherapy or radiation therapy cycles with
