They are caused by irregular neoangiogenesis and may be localised or generalised.\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p><p><strong>Peripheral angiodysplasias<\/strong> may be treated with <strong>transarterial embolisation.<\/strong> \u00a0\u00a0The procedure entails one-day hospitalisation and patients go home the following day.
